President Gary Morris

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of our President Gary Morris. The Morris family notified the P&A office of his passing on Saturday. No further details are known at this time.

Gary was a long time board member of UAW Local 1979, P&A, and was elected to the office of President in 2019. Before serving as President of the local, Gary served the board as Sargent-At-Arms, and on the Bargaining Team.

Funeral and visitation information will be shared if and when it becomes available.
